WebAssign Unveils Ready-To-Go Assignments

Online instructional tool provider WebAssign has launched Course Packs, assignments designed for specific textbooks.

Designed to help instructors supplement existing course assignments or quickly create new WebAssign courses, Course Packs are free to current users and contain "multiple assignments comprised of question sets, labs and/or quizzes that have been carefully chosen by experienced WebAssign adopters and subject matter experts," according to a news release.

Course Packs are designed to supplement existing courses or help instructors quickly create new ones.

Currently available for certain books in chemistry, math, physics and statistics, more Course Packs will be released throughout the coming academic year.

"About 40 percent of textbook users don't utilize the online homework features in WebAssign, limiting the breadth of resources available to instructors and students," said Andy Trus, product manager at WebAssign, in a prepared statement. "By offering free, prepackaged sets of assignments, Course Packs provide instructors with a fast and easy way to build and enrich their course."
