New Juji Chatbot Boasts More Human-Like Interaction

Artificial intelligence company Juji has introduced a "cognitive AI assistant," an AI-powered chatbot designed to "engage users in a more human-like interaction." According to the company, Juji's AI assistant can actively listen to users and automatically discern their needs, interests and personalities, enabling it to respond empathetically and provide better support.

For example, if the system infers that a user tends to be impulsive, it might remind the user to review all the options before making a decision, company documentation noted. If a user's responses indicate that family is a top priority, the system can suggest resources or services that meet those needs.

The customizable AI assistant can be deployed in days, the company said, with no coding or IT resources required.

"It's challenging for universities to keep pace with thousands of inquiries coming in from current and prospective students and alumni, particularly at a time when resources are tight," commented Juji CEO Michelle Zhou, in a statement. "Cognitive AI assistants are the new generation of chatbots that will empower universities and other organizations to respond to incoming inquiries 24x7 and personalize these responses whenever possible."
