Pima Community College Launches New Portal for a Unified Digital Campus Experience

Arizona's Pima Community College is elevating the digital campus experience for students, faculty, and staff with a new portal built on the Pathify digital engagement platform. The MyPima portal connects more than 30,000 constituents across the college's five campuses, four learning centers, and other locations throughout greater Tucson.

Pathify's custom middleware simplifies the navigation of Pima's campus systems, providing a single point of access to Ellucian Banner, D2L Brightspace, TouchNet, and other institutional resources. Development of the MyPima portal was informed by expertise, input, and feedback from all over the college. "This initiative truly took a village effort," reported Isaac Abbs, CIO for Pima, in a statement. "Departments across campus — Student Affairs, IT, Facilities, the Registrar, even the campus Police Department — came together in developing MyPima and that effort is truly reflected in our final product. This is so much bigger than an IT success; this is a huge win for the college."

"Pathify is proud to partner with Pima to bring their vision for a modern digital campus to life," commented Chase Williams, CEO and co-founder of Pathify. "We are inspired by their passion for teamwork and this demonstrates what institutions can achieve when they prioritize innovation and campus collaboration."

Pathify has announced portal implementations at a number of other institutions over the past few months, including the College of Eastern Idaho and Ball State University.
