Uwill Acquires Christie Campus Health

Higher education mental health provider Uwill has made its first acquisition: a fellow campus mental health provider, Christie Campus Health (CCH). Started in 2018, CCH grew to offer counseling, mental health, and wellness support to over 750,000 students across more than 100 colleges, according to a release.

Founded in 2020 with a goal of assisting colleges to meet the increasing demand of students for mental health services, Uwill established proprietary "matching platform" technology to connect students 24/7, at no cost to them and with no referrals needed, with licensed therapists of their choice immediately through video, phone, chat, or text message.

The company has grown to serve over 2 million students at over 300 colleges, Uwill said. Other services include crisis intervention, wellness events, and more.
