U Miami LiveAccess Classes Debut Next Week

University of Miami's Global Business English live classroom courses debut  April 23 using Vemics' LiveAccess software. Students at the University of Moscow will be among the first participants to use the university's video collaboration technologies.

According to Vemics, up to 30 students per class can participate in real-time sessions over theInternet. The software also allows students to access archived classes when they are not able to participate in live versions. The English as a Second Language curriculum is fully accredited, according to Vemics, and, upon completion, students will receive a competency certificate.

The University of Miami has 12 colleges and schools internationally with 15,600 undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled.
