AVerMedia Rolls Out 1080p Visual Presenter

AVerMedia Technologies has launched a new model in its Digital Presenter line of high-resolution document cameras for classroom presentations. The latest model, the AVerVision SPB370 Platform Visual Presenter, offers a 5 megapixel document/object camera and 1080p HD output coupled with networking capabilities.

The AVerVision SPB370 offers an 8" x 10" lightbox, dual VGA input ports, audio passthrough, and an Ethernet port for IP network control of the device. It provides output up to 1,920 x 1,080 at 30 FPS and multiple output ports, including DVI-I, S-video, composite, and VGA. The camera, which uses a 2.5-inch, 5 megapixel CMOS sensor for both documents and three-dimensional objects, features a 20x optical zoom and 8x digital zoom for a combined zoom of up to 160x.

Other features include:

  • Horizontal and vertical split-screen modes;
  • Picture in picture;
  • Network sharing;
  • Annotation features;
  • Still image and video recording via AVerVision software;
  • SD Card support and onboard image storage for up to 80 images;
  • Audio I/O; and
  • USB 2.0 port with RS-232 support via adapter.
