McGraw Hill Higher Education Partners with Ancile Solutions

McGraw-Hill Higher Education has partnered with Ancile Solutions, a developer of learning and performance software solutions, to provide new online, interactive education products to McGraw-Hill Higher Education customers through McGraw-Hill Connect, the company's digital teaching and learning environment.

Through the alliance, McGraw-Hill Higher Education will be able to use the Ancile uPerform Express digital content authoring tool to develop new digital education products. The company will initially use Ancile uPerform Express to develop the 2013 Health Professions editions of its online, interactive, medical office education products, including Computers in the Medical Office (CiMO) and Medical Insurance and Insurance in the Medical Office.

According to information on the Ancile Solutions site, Ancile uPerform Express is a light version of its Ancile uPerform automated content creation and management software. Ancile uPerform Express is designed to help small and medium-sized businesses create and deliver documentation, simulations, eLearning courses, and performance support for employee training.

According to Ancile Solutions, the "Ancile uPerform Education content output supports delivery of McKesson Medisoft exercises through McGraw-Hill Connect," so McGraw-Hill Higher Education customers will be able to access the new digital education products, as well as McKesson Medisoft exercises, through the same McGraw-Hill Connect digital teaching and learning environment interface.

"Partnering with Ancile is a natural fit for us and our customers," said Michael Ledbetter, managing director of Health Professions and Nursing for McGraw-Hill Higher Education, in a prepared statement. "Many of our customers that we have worked with for a number of years will be using Ancile uPerform Express digital content for their online education."
