Digital Skills Academy Adopts Online SIS and Portal

p>Digital Skills Academy, an Ireland-based school offering an online international Bachelor of Science honors degree in digital technology, design and innovation, plans to implement an online student information system (SIS) and portal.

The school selected the OneWorldSIS student information system and OneWorldSIS Portal. The OneWorldSIS system is built on the Microsoft Dynamics customer relationship management (CRM) platform and uses this underlying extendable and activity-based technology to automatically generate, manage and track processes through the entire student lifecycle, according to information on the company's site.

Digital Skills Academy will use the system to manage recruitment, enrolment, class management and alumni services, and administrators and staff will use it to analyze recruitment, retention and other analytics. The OneWorldSIS Portal will let instructors, students and parents enter and share information through the student information system from any computer or tablet, whether it is on-campus or online, as well as through Microsoft Outlook.

In related news, OneWorldSIS is participating in Microsoft CityNext, which is a global initiative to help cities and the organizations and individuals within them to "re-imagine their futures and cultivate vibrant communities." As part of this initiative, cities will be able to use OneWorldSIS to connect students and parents with educational services in their area.
