New ViewSonic Projectors Provide Brightness, Sound in Large Classrooms

The ViewSonic LightStream PJD7325 comes with the company's SuperColor and SonicExpert technologies.

ViewSonic has introduced two new projector models to its LightStream series designed to enhance brightness and sound in large classrooms and lecture halls.

The PJD7325 and PJD7525W offer 4,000 lumens of brightness and an integrated audio system that includes a built-in 16W speaker. Built with ViewSonic's SuperColor technology, the projectors boast more vivid and vibrant images even in rooms with ambient light, according to the company. Its SonicExpert sound technology is said to deliver greater frequency range and minimized distortion even at high volume levels.

An integrated compartment has an MHL/HDML port that will allow wireless multimedia streaming. It includes a remote network management function that enables simultaneous control of 250 projectors across a campus. As many as eight projectors can be controlled with a single remote. Advanced setup selections include vertical/horizontal keystone, corner adjustment and a cable management system.

The PJD7325, with native XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution, has a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $1,099, while the PJD7525W, with WXGA (1,280 x 800) resolution, has an MSRP of $1,132. ViewSonic offers a 3-year limited parts and labor and a 1-year lamp warranty.
