Noodle Partners, IData Team Up to Give Campuses Full Control Over Data

Noodle Partners, a provider of online program management (OPM) services, has joined forces with IData Incorporated, a higher education data management company. Through the partnership, the companies plan to launch a turnkey solution that will enable colleges and universities to have complete transparency and control over complex data systems that drive online educational programs.

NoodleBus by IData, a standardized and integrated education enterprise bus (ESB), “will make it possible to connect internal systems and service producers to give [institutions] access to mission-critical program data,” according to a news release. Whereas online programs require various technologies for recruiting, enrollment, learning management systems, retention, advising, etc., the new solution will offer a cohesive network of systems using the same standardized connectors. “To make the interoperability of these critical tools work, the NoodleBus by IData drives real-time information around marketing and enrollment, course engagement, satisfaction and grades.”

“Education providers create and store a great deal of data,” said Brian Parish, CEO and founder of IData, in the news release. “Simplifying the ability to get the most out of their information resources is a big step forward for institutions, students and those who support them.”

“The NoodleBus promises an integrated and seamless experience, adherent to open standards, that will ultimately help universities and vendors have less friction and better information,” said John Katzman, CEO and founder of Noodle Partners, in the release.

NoodleBus by IData will debut at ACE2017 taking place next week (March 11-14) in Washington, D.C.
