New AVer Auto-Tracking Camera Offers 30X Optical Zoom

AVer Information Inc. USA has expanded its line of artificial intelligence tracking cameras with a new model boasting 30X optical zoom and multiple tracking modes. The TR331 uses AI with a human detection algorithm to track a presenter, pre-set tracking zones, or a combination of the two (hybrid mode).

With presenter tracking, the camera can automatically follow a speaker anywhere around the room or follow any additional speaker with a click, either via remote control or web interface, according to a news announcement. Zone tracking captures content among four preset areas, while hybrid mode can switch between presenter and zone mode. The AI technology detects and captures human forms automatically, without the need for a dedicated camera operator.

Other features include:

  • Wide Dynamic Range for balancing dark or bright lighting;
  • 3G-SDI/HDMI/IP/USB output;
  • Power over Ethernet;
  • Visca control;
  • SRT Ready for secure, low-latency video broadcasts;
  • Compatibility with major video platforms; and
  • Compatibility with Barco ClickShare and Intel Unite for content sharing and collaboration.

AVer offers a number of free software applications for operating the camera, including PTZ Management software for controlling all AVer Pro AV camera functions from any PC operating Windows 10; CaptureShare for recording video, live streaming and capturing still images during distance learning and real-time videoconferencing; and PTZ Control Panel, a mobile application for iPad users.
