Epson to Add 7 New Education Projectors

This spring, Epson will be launching seven new education projectors in its PowerLite line. The new models range from budget classroom projectors to network projectors.

The new budget models are the PowerLite E20, X49 and W49. The E20 offers an XGA resolution and a brightness of 3,400 lumens. The X49 is also an XGA projector, but it offers a brightness of 3,600 lumens. The W49 offers a WXGA resolution plus a brightness of 3,800 lumens.

Meanwhile, the PowerLite 118, 119W, 982W and 992F are designed to offer expended connectivity options and advanced features. The PowerLite 118 offers XGA resolution and a brightness of 3,800 lumens. The PowerLite 119W, 982W offer WXGA resolution and a brightness of 4,000 nd 4,200 lumens, respectively. The PowerLite 992F offers WUXGA resolution and a brightness of 4,000 lumens, plus Miracast capability built in, which allows educators to project a mirror image of their laptop screen wirelessly, among other capabilities.

The PowerLite E20 will be available in April. The Miracast-capable PowerLite 992F will be available in July. All the rest are shipping in June. For further details, visit the Epson site.
