Kurogo Mobile Campus Updates Interface for Non-Technical Users

Modo Labs has updated its mobile communications platform, Kurogo Mobile Campus, with a new admin console.

The new browser-based console features a simplified interface designed to allow developers and non-developers manage applications.

"Any type of user can access data sources, modules, layouts, navigation, theming and much more," according to a company news release. "Notably, most data integrations can now be performed via the Kurogo Admin Console — without any coding required."

Other features of the console include:

  • The ability to create, extend and modify modules;
  • The ability to configure, deploy and manage multiple roles and sites within one server;
  • The ability to define or swap feeds in a running application;
  • Theme updating across multiple platforms, such as iOS and Android; and
  • An edit capability that allows sections and screens to be added to modules.

"Modo Labs' Kurogo Mobile Campus 2.0 solution provides our non-technical users and developers with the ease and flexibility to leverage mobile assets and responsive content, create highly customized mobile Web sites and apps fast, regardless of platform or device, and quickly accommodate our community's ever changing needs," said Ron Kraemer, vice president and chief information and digital officer at the University of Notre Dame, in a prepared statement. "As a result, our mobile development staff can focus on accelerating innovation, and stay at the forefront of mobile technology services."
