Campus Management Intros Strategic Solutions Practice

A new consultative service from Campus Management offers to help colleges and universities better prepare for and utilize technology. The Higher Education Strategic Solutions Practice provides "ongoing guidance to help higher ed institutions achieve operational goals," according to a press release.

"Recognizing that shifting priorities of institutions necessitate an evolutionary approach, our customers will benefit from the continuity of having strategic consultants who remain engaged throughout the entire relationship lifecycle with Campus Management," said Ken Wilson, director of strategic consulting, who will head up the practice. "Implementations are not one-size-fits-all approaches, so our engagements and resulting recommendations will be holistic, co-created with each customer to maximize impact and relevance."

The company's consulting process, dubbed Value Track, consists of three "areas of engagement":

  • Align, in which "targeted interviews identify each customer's priorities and critical pain points" and result in recommendations and executive strategies (including key performance indicators for tracking effectiveness);
  • Assess, in which "regular touchpoints during service engagements ensure the focus remains on the institution's top priorities" and evaluate progress toward intended goals; and
  • Optimize, in which "periodic milestone assessments" are used to evaluate performance (including post-implementation) and maximize impact.
