Edmission Launches Web App for Personalized College Search Help

Edmission has launched a new web app for its online personalized college admission planning service.

The new tool allows users to set admissions goals, build an admissions profile, learn about colleges, receive notifications for key dates and milestones and receive personalized recommendations for achieving admissions goals.

The app is designed to personalize the experience by offering specific recommendations based ona  student's interest in, for example, a specific university or major.

"We want to make it easy for students to plan their college admission. High school students these days are stressed with piles of homework, tests, and extracurricular activities," said Angela Choy, cofounder and CEO at Edmission, in a prepared statement. "So instead of adding another thing to their long list and worrying about college planning activities, Edmission takes care of that with a virtual college planning assistant so students can focus on getting good grades on their coursework, studying for standardized tests, and participating in meaningful extracurricular activities."

Edmission is currently offering free accounts and plans to offer paid accounts with additional features in the future.
