Perceivant Intros 15 New Courses

Ed tech company Perceivant is introducing 15 new "courses" — interactive courseware designed to replace the traditional textbook. Titles include:

  • College Success;
  • Exploring Public Speaking;
  • About Writing: A Guide;
  • Six Steps to Job Search Success;
  • Introduction to Sociology;
  • American Government;
  • US History;
  • Psychology;
  • Principle of Economics;
  • Personal Finance;
  • A Concise Introduction of Logic;
  • Introduction to Art;
  • Introduction to Financial Accounting;
  • Modern Philosophy; and
  • Biology.

Each course features professor-reviewed content paired with multimedia elements, self-assessments, discussions and other activities. Integrated analytics allow instructors to track overall course engagement, individual student engagement, progress and success.

In addition, the company has launched a new mobile application, BearTracks, that allows students to access any Perceivant course via iOS or Android mobile device. Students can complete and submit self-assessments, view instructional videos, receive assignment reminders and other notifications, track coursework history and more, all through the app.
